I am Scottish but my ancestors had a Timber merchants in Onsoy,the name is in the title of my comment, dampsag i believe is a steam saw,the bussiness was amalgamated when Fredrickstad was being enlarged, i would like to know if anyone has heard of it ,my family are the Pedersons ,Hans Peder, was the head of the family from 1865
